Nice pic naboleo. Smile

If I'm not mistaken that is the new AppRadio.
or it's the regular radios w/added AppRadio support.

Either way it's an improvement. Yes your phone can do most of this stuff already but I'm sorry, after a few months of using it, I've come to not like this set up. IMO there is much refinement needed and these HU's might be it. Maybe it's just the lack of a good dock w/HDMI out for my phone but still there are other things needed. AppRadio 2 is a barebones system.

RE: App Radio 3
Did you even read the captions? Those are Sony... Not AppRadio 3.

You'd be hard pressed to convince me that those will be better for the extra money they cost since I can literally do everything already. There is no reason to even bother moving onto the next one (if one is ever announced) unless the color pallet and framerate improves - the later of which is probably due more to the phone.

RE: App Radio 3
Here are some new units that I saw at CES, unfortunately no Appradio 3. They all looked pretty good and all include Android Advanced App mode.

I also saw a lot of in-dashes that are using MiraCast but the feature set looked very basic on them, even more basic than what the standard Pioneer Appradio app offers. I even tried to demo ARliberator to one of their demo guys but they only had the iphone connectivity setup, not the MHL, go figure...

RE: App Radio 3
SPH-DA100 doesn't and that's the only unit proven working 100% now...

RE: App Radio 3
Instead of a new thread...I will ask here if anyone installed AR3 using pre installed AR2 GPS and radio antennas and the AR2 microphone? Does the AR2 mic work for voice recognition?
